Pennsylvania District Judge Robert Simpson yesterday denied a motion for a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit brought by the left which seeks to block Pennsylvania's new voter ID law from taking effect. The ruling is good news for those who support voting rights, for those who applaud sanity in government.

Union Boss Trumka Issues Threat. Demands That Democratic Elected Officials Support Unions Or Else

If I was in the process of ramping up to spend more than $500 million of money that I stole fair and square to reelect Barack Obama, I suppose I would be rather demanding.  In fact, I’d probably feel just like Richard Trumka who, I’m sure, feels he bought this President, along with most of … Continue reading Union Boss Trumka Issues Threat. Obama Administration Moves To Overturn Constitutional Amendments

The Obama administration is on the offensive again in their zeal to protect labor unions, showering them with corrupt deals and political favoritism. The National Labor Relations Board, an agency of the Obama administration, is expanding its authority well beyond that which is its legal charter by bringing lawsuits seeking to overturn constitutional amendments in … Continue reading Obama Administration Moves To Overturn Constitutional Amendments

Teacher’s Union President Fails To Defend Union Tactics Including Phony Sick-Out

I have followed the ongoing battle of the labor unions vs. Governor Scott Walker and the people of Wisconsin closely.  I have researched it quite thoroughly, even traveling to Madison Wisconsin with my son to observe the street protests, speak with the people and interview protesters.  This fight - and the ongoing stories which surround … Continue reading Teacher’s Union President Fails To Defend Union Tactics Including Phony Sick-Out

Wisconsin Republicans have begun increasing the pressure on the Democratic State Senators who fled Wisconsin to prevent legislature from having a quorum, thus forestalling that body's ability to vote on budget legislation aimed at returning the state to a sustainable course of fiscal sanity. These Democrats, who fled Wisconsin faster than the French left Paris, … Continue reading Labor Unions Intensify The Street War In Wisconsin

Hypocrisy Transparent As Obama Prepares To Meet With Chamber of Commerce

Although the sea of socialist rhetoric and hypocrisy through which Barack Obama makes us wade is routinely deep, I found a news blurb this morning that I found particularly  hypocritical.  Barack Obama is meeting   with the US Chamber of Commerce to see what he can do to help create jobs. Obama also wants to assure … Continue reading Hypocrisy Transparent As Obama Prepares To Meet With Chamber of Commerce

Turning America Around: Part One

A great American philosopher once said: It’s Déjà vu all over again.  Although it’s a great line, my intent here is not to wax philosophic by quoting Yogi Berra.  The malaise in which America now flounders is Déjà vu all over again, as it is eerily reminiscent of the America of 1980 and the malaise … Continue reading Turning America Around: Part One

Post Election Analysis: Alan Grayson The Most Ridiculous Congressman In Recent Memory

Some months ago, I wrote an article about Congressman Alan Grayson which wasn't my finest literary work ever, but it was generally well received and, more importantly, writing it quelled my urge to throw the guy a beating.  I'm sure there were thousands of people who wanted to throw him a beating as well, but … Continue reading Post Election Analysis: Alan Grayson The Most Ridiculous Congressman In Recent Memory
